The title says it all. If its technical coaching you are after there are much better, more accomplished, more qualified coaches out there for you. If you want to come and hang out, have fun and play with horses then come and join us.
We want children to have a positive experience with horses where they learn how to communicate with them in a way the horse responds well to.
We want an anxious free environment for both horse and child.
One of our falabellas, Tulla is a certified ICofA Therapy Horse - qualified to work with both adults and children, one-on-one and in groups - and our instructor, Thea May, has several years of experience of horsemanship and working with horses. She has attended a course of Horses and Psycosocial behaviour. Her passion is teaching children to feel safe and happy around horses.
What We Can Offer

One-on-One
One hour one and one session with small horses and an instructor.
In the session you will handle the ponies by leading them from the field to the barn, groom, and take them for a walk if you want. During the session the child will learn about the horses’ language and how to communicate in a safe and caring way.
The session can finish with a short ride on one of the bigger ponies if wanted.

Group
One hour group session with a maximum of 4 children.
In the session you will handle the ponies by leading them from the field to the barn, groom, and take them for a walk if you want. During the session the child will learn about the horses’ language and how to communicate in a safe and caring way.
The session can finish with a short ride on one of the bigger ponies if wanted.

Half Day
Maximum 2 people. Spend the morning from 09:00 until 13:00, and learn about horses and how to look after them. Exercises include feeding, grooming, paddock management, how to prepare food, and feed the horses. Option of riding if wanted.
